Division Three Football Senior Classic

WHO- The Collegiate Development Football League is the host for the  D3 Senior Classic

WHAT-  The  D3 Senior Classic has been established to show case  Division III  football player talent . Only seniors with no remaining eligibility are eligible to participate.

WHEN- The game will take place in Salem , Virginia,  on Saturday December 4, 2010 , 2pm kick-off.

ITINERARY- The following is general/tentative information for players, scouts, fans, and media in planning for the events leading up to the 2nd Annual D-III Football Senior Classic in Salem, Virginia on Friday 12/3/10, 7 pm kick-off  (note all practices at Salem Stadium are open to the media and public)

• Wednesday12/1/10- Player, coach arrival and Check-in, in Salem, Virginia.  “Meet and Greet” player and coaches organizational social at Holiday Inn, 7:30-9:30pm, Main conference room.
• Thursday 12/2/10- Breakfast7:00-8:30am- Bus to field 9:30am Practice session #1- 10-12:15pm at Salem Stadium, lunch break, 12:15-1:15 at Hotel Practice session #2, 2-4:15pm.at Salem stadium. Practice session #3- team meetings at Salem Holiday Inn, -
• Thursday 12/2/10- D-III Senior Classic Player Banquet, 7-9:15pm, Salem Civic Center Banquet Hall.
• Friday 12/4/09-Breakfast 7:00-8:30am- Bus to field 9:30am Practice session #4- 10-12:15pm at Salem Stadium, lunch break, 12:15-1:15 at Hotel.
• Friday 12/3/10- Player meetings by teams, room TBA 2:30-3:30,  4 pm players arrive at Salem stadium for walk through and pre-game warm-up. post game wrap-up 9:30pm on field

Friday 12/3/10-Game kickoff 7pm

WHAT YOU GET- The D3 Senior Classic initial player invite letters will be arriving on college campuses prior to the first of September.  Information and itinerary will be included as players will have a commit deadline beginning 11/15/10.  The 90 top senior players from the nation will be chosen to fill 2 teams .  The selection committee will establish teams for the North and South with 2 players deep at every position for both the offense and defense.

Players will receive the following;

• Personalized game jersey to keep
• Logo workout gear for the game practices, practic jersey
• Logo sweat top and pants
• Participation Award

HOW?- The players are responsible to arrange for their own transportation and lodging. The game is supported by  a player participation fee of  which is due upon final player commitment.  Each player will receive and be responsible for a full page “player profile” pagein the game program. (Note; this can be utilized to assist players in  raising money for travel, lodging and registration expenses  )
